I think that kindness can be done if you want. It is not a genetic 'thing'. If you want to do ir, you can.
Kindness can be done daily.
E.g. In the bus, when you see any handicapped, pregnant lady or senior citizens, we can offer our seats to them.
When you do something good, you will feel a kind of satisfaction. There was once, when I went to the toilet(shopping mall), I helped a little girl to wash her hands because she was too short to reach the basin. I felt good after doing that.
I can tell you that most of the Singaporeans are not gracious. They either pretend to fall asleep or pretend to be too engrossed in their handphones when any pregnant ladies/senior citizens board the MRT train or the bus. I saw many of these scenes.
I watched a chinese show on channel 8 last Thursday at 8pm-8:30pm. It is talking about some inconsiderate scenes about Singaporeans. My sister and I was laughing throughout the whole show as it was really humorous.
