My best friend, Shernise, and I were lining up outside our classroom. We discussed about our excursion to Road Safety Park with our class. We were pedestrians. In the bus, we giggled and chatted with our friends. When we reached there, each of us were given a card. On the card, there is a small little map. Shernise and my first stops were the same. So we went to our destination together. It was tiring. We took a long time finding the stop as we got to use zebra crossings and traffic lights to cross. When we found the stop and did the quiz, we had to split up. I said goodbye to her and she did the same thing. I went alone. I had to admit that I jaywalked a few times but there was no traffic police around. *hew* I was definitely lucky. At my second last stop, I met Shernise again. She was doing the quiz. There was a traffic police there and many other pedestrians. I was sort of blind. There was a traffic light a few steps ahead but I did not see it! So I jaywallked in front of a traffic police and everyone saw it! I gasped. I GOT FINED!!!!!!!!! Never mind... Anyway, we came here to have fun. We went back to school, perspiring a lot.
I sat there, in my room flashing back that day when we went to Road Safety Park.
