Book Recommendation

Title: The Bad Beginning

Author: Lemony Snicket

This story about three orphans. This was the first book and it has a movie on it. It has a series of many books, and I only read some of it. Among all of the books, I think that the first book is the most interesting one.

Here goes the story... One day, the Baudelaires(three orphans' surname) went to the beach. Suddenly, a man named Mr. Poe came walking towards them and said that there were bad news. He announced that their house was been burnt down and the parents were still in there.

The Baudelaires were then sent to one of the relatives. That relative was named, Count Olaf. During the stay of the orphans, Count Olaf treated them like servants and punished them if they do not get the task done well. It was a torture to the Baudelaires as they were usually treated nicely when their parents were around.

One unfine day, Count Olaf insisted that the orphans got to act in one of his plays. The eldest daughter, Violet was playing a role of his girlfriend marrying him. The two other sliblings were just small roles. Soon, Violet realised that Olaf just wanted the Baudelaires' fortune! But it was too late.

On that night, the orphans had no chioce but to act in the play.

SOMETHING HAPPENED IN THE END.. WHAT IS IT?? READ IT YOURSELF!!!

The four days of the Chinese New Year break is long. I agree.. But I did not celebrate the Chinese New year. We stayed at home for the 4 days, doing work.. (boring) And I can't receive hong pao this year. Since we can't celebrate Chinese New year, I cannot talk much about my four days' holidays. Maybe the next year you can still come to my blog and see what am I going to do for the Chinese New year.
